Michael Hart - Prophet Muhammad Is The Most Influential Person
Michael Hart kept Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) first in the list of 100 most influential persons in history.
So, why did a Jewish author think Prophet Muhammad is the best human to have Influenced the history? What forced Michael H. Hart to place Him in the No.1 position?
Michael H Hart About Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level.
Not only this surprised many but also send some shockwaves to the Islamophobes.
Firming up his views about Prophet Muhammad, Michael H Hart further said:
Of humble origins, Muhammad founded and promulgated one of the world’s great religions, and became an immensely effective political leader. Today, thirteen centuries after his death, his influence is still powerful and pervasive.

He continued:
The majority of the persons in this book had the advantage of being born and raised in centers of civilization, highly cultured or politically pivotal nations. Muhammad, however, was born in the year 570, in the city of Mecca, in southern Arabia, at that time a backward area of the world, far from the centers of trade, art, and learning.

In addition, the list includes famous English scientist Isaac Newton and Jesus Christ (PBUH) just after Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The logic behind placing Jesus Christ after Isaac Newton, as Hart explained was St. Paul’s pivotal role in Christianity. Although, Jesus Christ is the central figure for Christians but the influence of St. Paul is more in the religion.
Aren’t you eager to know more about the author and his book? So, let’s go to it and see why Michael H. Hart’s book generated so much hype?
Michael H. Hart & His Book.
Michael H. Hart is an America based Jewish astronomer and mathematician by profession. He authored many books and is most notably known for his best selling one titled as “The 100; A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History”.
In this particular book, he explored on to the first human in this Earth, i.e., Adam (a.s.) to make a genuine rankings of the best humans to have impacted the history.
It took Michael H. Hart 3 years of research to publish “The 100”. Since it’s release, the book has been marketed with over 500,000 copies in 15 languages.
The book also features St. Paul, Prophet Moses (A.S.), Aristotle, Alexander & Galileo in the rankings. Hold your curiosity right here, I will paste the list later in this post.
Critics over choosing Muhammad ﷺ for No.1.
Coupled with rankings, Michael H. Hart logically explained the reason behind placing a person in a particular position in the list.
Even after that, critics didn’t leave any stone unturned to target him over his choice of placing Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) as number 1 in the list. Particularly this didn’t go down well with the critics. But, Michael reiterated that it’s only facts related to Prophet Muhammad and all others forced him to assign particular rank in the list.
You might be thinking that one being a non-Muslim can be a pro-Islamist. No doubt!
To outweigh critics, let me tell you one thing. Michael H. Hart is a vocal white supremacist and separatist, the belief that mainly goes against the core principle of Islam and teachings of our Prophet. Yes, you read it right! Had he been a little biased in writing this book, he would not have choosen the greatest human to lead the ranking of influential persons.
